Audience Member A great low budget horror film! If you're a die hard horror fan like I am, you are sure to love this gruesome, entertaining film! It's full of good suspense and will probably make you jump a time or two. It really keeps you interested in what's going on and doesn't really have a dull moment. On the gore scale it's around what some of the Saw movies are so be warned if you're squeamish. It's a pretty good story and while we may have seen cannibals before, Scarce gives it a somewhat new look. It takes place in Pennsylvania which makes everyone who lives there look like cannibals or dirty hillbillies. As a spokesperson for Pennsylvania, we're not all like that. The cast is good with Warren doing a great job of first being seemingly harmless and then turning into a psycho. For some of the cast, this is their first film, so considering that, it's pretty impressive. I enjoyed the female nudity especially Stephanie Banting's, I wasn't a big fan however of the hippie man-balls in the first scene. Anyway, this film shows that there are some good low-budget films that don't have the big studios behind it. If you're a horror fan, I'd give Scarce a watch. Gets A-List Rating of: Do It!
