Keith K. @goa64 4d Can’t believe it’s taken me this long to find this movie. A masterpiece. A very strong, Catholic movie that counters the popular narrative that the church was pro-Nazi. See more Marissa A @MarissaAnne Dec 21 Ive seen this movie twice and decided to review it. It is very captivating. Of course Christopher Plummer plays an excellent character as well as Gregory Peck. I found out the story is true and the priest did dress up in disguises, some of them humorous. I recommend it to anyone who is interested in WWII films. Since the main character is a priest it is somewhat religious in nature. But I think even a non religious person might find the story itself very captivating. Marvelous twist and turns with some riveting moral choices along the way leading to the ultimate one at the end of the film. I am a veteran film watcher (and award-winning filmmaker ) and after watching thousands it’s difficult for any film to make an impact on me… But this one did! Strongly recommend! See more 09/28/2024 Excellent Catholic movie See more Augustine J @RT91683837 04/01/2024 It's a good film. The shots of the Vatican are impressive. A well told story of an extraordinary man doing a rather extraordinary thing. It might be a little long, but that's all the more time to enjoy Ennio Morricone's good score. Gregory Peck gives a good performance despite this being a TV movie. I thought this movie was a good one. See more Jim J @Jimmmmmm 09/18/2023 Hollywood blows Smoke up your Date. Of course we are all well aware of the Total lie this movie tries to Portray. The Catholic church hid Nazi money and Art and was in no way involved in protecting anyone. This is Catholic propaganda at its worst. See more Read all reviews
