matthias s @Thescreenasvor Oct 28 Finally watched Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King, despite growing up with the franchise. It’s a charming Halloween adventure — Scooby-Doo and the holiday always fit perfectly — but the pacing is uneven, with some moments dragging and others rushing by. Tim Curry brings real flair as the Goblin King, and Shaggy and Scooby dressing as Daphne and Velma is a standout gag. It looks and feels like a Halloween special, just not quite like a classic Scooby one. See more Target C @scarydooMT Jul 11 Pretty good Scooby movie. This movie is entertaining and has some stand out elements that most Scooby movies don’t have. This movie does not at all have a mystery. Which kinda drags it down a bit, but it is a fun adventure movie. The magic is cool, but would’ve been better if it had an actual mystery. It is different but fun. The voice cast for a made for DVD movie, is amazing. Since two recent Scooby-Doo movies were about proving Velma right, that monsters don't exist. I‘d hate to see what the excuse for this one would be. Shaggy and Scooby were on a bad acid trip ? See more 07/26/2019 Scooby-Doo and the Goblin King tries to be different by being more high fantasy with little to no people in costumes this time around and having the gang separated for most of the movie but it mostly ends up feeling like a weird film that's definitely one of the weaker entries in the direct-to-DVD Scooby-Doo movies.
