Audience Member very strange and quite pointless movie. it doesn't even decipher what "scopia effect" is. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member In part It's beautiful. Beautiful! Of that there is no doubt, but those picturesque scenes are all The Scopia Effect has going for it. Or more accurately, it's all The Scopia Effect *is*. It's not that there isn't a story, it's not that you don't "get" the story, it's just that the story is a non-event. So The Scopia Effect ends up being a collection of good looking imagery intercut with repeated footage depicting different times in history, that is capped off with, (instead of an actual resolution) more nice imagery. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member Feels a tad inconstant and rather all over the place, but still a pretty interesting movie.
