There's some good material here, about the importance of the cask and the peat that smokes the barley. But the film ultimately has nothing significant to say about this $6 billion global industry.

I’m a scotch aficionado myself, so seeing some of the best to do it was a real treat. I wish they would have talked about more of the distillation process instead of the extensive interviewing. That was my favorite part of touring some of the distilleries. Worth a watch if you’re a scotch lover

Great job at blending some basics to the distilling process, with history and fresh elements of the whisky industry. Any whisky doc that can make you feel poetic and romantic about experiences with whisky is worth the watch. This is atop the list.
