Richard Charters (Edmund Burns) is in prison for a murder that he didn't commit. He escapes and makes his way to the docks, looking for a way to get out of town. There, he learns about Capt. McCall's (James Donnelly) treasure hunt from McCall's scheming first mate, Johnson (Walter Long). Richard decides to stow away on McCall's ship after he meets the man's daughter, Ann (Molly O'Day). But Richard is exposed when he rescues Ann from an attack by Johnson.

04/23/2011 good pirate adventure yarn See more 02/01/2007 5.5/10. It of interest primarily due to it's historical value. This early talkie has not held up well over time - the acting is stiff and stagy as well. But it must have been impressive in 1930. See more Read all reviews
