It is also beautifully crafted, filled with slippery bits of black and white animation that graphically illustrate some of the points being made. Go to Full Review

A messily structured look into the hidden world of national security policy and the 'classification universe,' Secrecy comes off as not much more than an aperitif. Go to Full Review

11/18/2013 This documentary that's essentially about government abusing secrecy to cover their own ass is a bit too supportive of the same government. That's pretty strange. CHECK IT OUT. See more 07/12/2013 Timely documentary is creepy but rather dry. See more 11/26/2011 i've never understood the need for discretion. it's not the way i live my life, and it's not the way the government should be governing. men in power. that was the mistake. See more 10/27/2011 A little dry, but very interesting. See more 08/28/2011 This is a mess. There are a number of great films hiding in this movie but the filmmakers failed to make any of them. See more 08/15/2011 Another excellent documentary. This time we're looking at the meteoric rise of classified and secretive material in the United States. The film does a great job of examining the current climate of secrecy in America, but it also looks back to the '50s, and shows us how we arrived where here. Most impressive though, it is one of the most well-balanced docs that I've ever seen. It doesn't feel biased or preachy at all. Grade: B+ See more Read all reviews
