Audience Member Unique and creative don't even begin to describe the sheer originality of this singular movie; with that said, it consistently rubs off as trying too hard to be weird as opposed to it coming naturally. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member Strange underwhelming stop motion film that's short but isn't too interesting Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member The visuals are great; the stop motion and pixelation of the actors gives the film a surreal and disturbing setting, and the laboratory early in the movie is brilliantly designed. Sadly, the rest of the film does not maintain the initial energy. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/17/23 Full Review Audience Member I watched this in the 90's. I remember liking the premise and gritty atmosphere. Live actor mixed with clay-mation in stop action was kind of interesting. Family values in a dark freakish world . . . Eraserhead anyone? I guess I'll buy anything if the people seemed to give it an earnest try :) Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Hammentavin elokuva hetkeen. Oikein hienosti tehty. Ihmisnuket <3 Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Surreal, Schwenkmeyer-influenced stop-motion feature (ish - it's only 55 minutes) about an artificial child who, due to a mishap in his creation process, is born as a foetus-like creature only 6" tall. Creates a darkly humorous, unsettling world out of garbage, rotting vegetables, animal bones, rusted metal, dead insects and animated hunks of meat. Both the actors and the puppets are shot in stop motion, giving the humans a lurching, nightmarish quality that coheres with the on-screen world rather than jarring with it.
