Audience Member Married man bows to pressures at home and work by beginning encounters with prostitutes. Things begin to unravel once he contracts a social disease and endangers his family when a pimp extorts money with drive-bys at the family home. A reminder to consider consequences. Filmed in Vancouver, where there appears to be plenty of daytime streetwalkers. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member I love Shatner, but this TV movie was really very typical of movies like it, and I think it could have been a lot better. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Audience Member When Michelle Phillips refuses to wear the silky neglige Shatner creepily purchased for her, he dives into a rampant parade of prostitutes that climaxes with Cybil Shepard's maybe/sorta hooker with a heart of gold. This TV movie is complete scare-ya-straight moralizing cheese, but thanks to Shatner's squirmy STDed ho addict and the third reel appearance of Glenn Thurman's friendly businessman pimp, Secrets of a Married Man is a low-rent, but enjoyable entry in the 80s era Shatnerverse. VF. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member Shatner likes his ladies cheap and often. Unfortunately, his wife isn't as happy with his interests. Shatner plays pervy very well, but the overall message of this movie kind of felt like it all came down to his wife needing to dress sexier. Silly, made for TV crap. But watchable. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member I wish this wouldn't have been a Television movie, so that they could have shown more of the "affair" Shatner's character has in the movie, the way it is they always cut to another scene quick. The movie is a bit predictable at first, but there is some good turns towards the end. Plus, the ending is very nice, I liked it. Overall, a pretty good movie, fine acting, but they could have done more with it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member WILLIAM SHATNER BANGS SOME PROSTITUTES!!
