RICHARD S A surprisingly entertaining WW2 comedy from the wartime 1940s. Barracks life looks authentic (based on my own experience), but much funnier than I remember it. Early in his film career, the wonderful Robert Walker shows his comedy acting chops well in this one. If you're a guy, you'll fall in love with the young and beautiful Donna Reed. This is a much better movie than most from the era. I'd say if you like WW2 nostalgia, this is one you won't want to miss! Because of its success, a sequel was made soon after, but it seems never to have been released anywhere. (If I'm wrong, let me know how to find it.)
