Presley B I thought this film was an exceptional watch. Being able to see how Allred grew up and why she became who she is today was extremely empowering. I also enjoyed seeing how she handled the hate she received her entire career. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/13/24 Full Review Lian Ashley S This documentary showcases the work that attorney Gloria Allred does. We see her immersed in her work and how she has battled some of the biggest names when it comes to politics. What I found meaningful about this documentary is how powerful she is and what an inspiration she is. Seeing her continue to fight and be by her client’s side through it all despite all the allegations and hate thrown her way shows just how resilient she really is. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/13/24 Full Review Maia S While some people may view Gloria Allred as a fame-seeking layer, this film will completely change that. I was surprised to learn that multiple high-profile cases I’d heard about were ones she has passionately fought for, never knowing she was associated with them. Her own journey as a survivor fighting for other victims is truly inspirational and shows her dedication to justice. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/13/24 Full Review jason w Watching Seeing Allred was really cool because of how fearless she was in the face of men with more power. Her unwavering commitment to giving a voice to the voiceless reminded me of the power one person can have to create real change. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 12/12/24 Full Review Kate H Gloria Allred is an iconic lawyer, and this film captures her true character, which largely differs from how the media portrays her. Viewers get to see defining moments of her career and how she truly cares for all her clients. This film puts Gloria Allred at the center, where we delve into her character and how she is an admirable and inspiring person, despite the battles she has encountered. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 12/12/24 Full Review Xavier P Wrote down "inspiring and empowering" on Letterboxd right after watching the film. And it truly is. It's always amazing to see activist films because it reminds me that there are still people out there who fight for what's right and we're not alone. Seeing Allred is a great example of such a film. Well-structured and paced, talking about someone who contributed to so many important cases yet remains unknown to many people including myself. Her attitude of standing of her ground and going along with it till the end despite tribulations inspired me a lot and I just feel lucky to be about to know about this person and learn from her life stories and spirit.
