Audience Member This movie is outstanding! Everyone can profit from it! It's really funny, maybe you'll think it's sappy, but when the rest of life and the world today is such a 'downer', it's fabulous to watch something uplifting and encouraging!!!! Yea!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Excellent movie with an impactful message! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/06/23 Full Review Audience Member Selfie Dad reflects very well real struggles of choosing a Godly life over what the world says is acceptable. In a very humorous manner we get to see what brings about what we are all searching for, peace. From starting out with similarities to the classic It's A Wonderful Life to the very end with people from all over the world pledging "I'm in," my husband and I were engaged in the story line and humor. Almost had to hit pause a few times till the gut laughter subsided! Very fun movie and realistic in the importance of a dad leading his family in the most committed manner. Loved it! Need more movies like it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/12/23 Full Review Audience Member I was pleasantly surprised by this film and my entire family really enjoyed it. My only real issue was that it was too short and could have used a bit more character development such as Carol and her husband (who was mentioned but never seem). What was their relationship to the main characters, why were they there. It felt like there are some deleted scenes. Also, the one dramatic scene involving the party going to a party seemed a bit overdone. I mean, she was missing for a few hours. Some more background or maybe a side plot of traffickers in the news or something would have made it more serious feeling. Overall it is on par with other good family films without the ridiculous over exaggerated acting that treats viewing kids like they are mouth breathers. The overall plot of how getting into the bible will change your life what great. Unfortunately that felt like it took most of the movie to get there. Very good performances from all involved.
