Mike McCahill Guardian Another broad, sitcom-bright crowdpleaser, prone to abusing the wacky sound effect button, this latest Mehta comedy has nevertheless been packaged with a professionalism that’s hard to deny. Rated: 3/5 Feb 24, 2023 Full Review Ishita Sengupta OTTplay Across its runtime of 144-minutes, Selfiee ends up as a superficial depiction of a star-fan confrontation, all the while refusing to villainise — and more crucially humanise — either. Jul 20, 2023 Full Review Edward Porter Sunday Times (UK) Raj Mehta’s film has entertaining moments in its ludicrous comic melodrama, but its focus on a driving test is stubbornly dull. I never thought I’d see a film that would tell me so much about India’s highway code. Rated: 2/5 Mar 2, 2023 Full Review Carla Hay Culture Mix For a comedy that's nearly two-and-a-half hours, Selfiee takes way too long to have nothing interesting to say. Emraan Hashmi puts in a good effort to make his character believable. The other cast members just exist in a dull movie with silly gimmicks. Mar 1, 2023 Full Review Prathyush Parasuraman Film Companion A film like Selfiee needs to be a tender dance of humour and heavyweight feelings. What it needs most, to achieve this balance, is maturity. Yet where to find this in a film that wilfully looks at a text and junks its meaning? Feb 28, 2023 Full Review Anna M.M. Vetticad Firstpost Selfiee is not as good as Driving Licence, but it is not bad either. It’s certainly immensely superior to the mediocrity, loudness and propaganda that dominate Akshay’s filmography. Rated: 2.25/5 Feb 24, 2023 Full Review Read all reviews

Queen Kalra It was fun and an interesting one full of entertainment.. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/03/23 Full Review Mahmood Babar Best Bollywood Movie after a long long time. Exclusive story. Great performance of Akshay Kumar & Emraan Hashmi. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review sifa vahora Please do ur self a favor and don’t watch it Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/25/23 Full Review Taseer A Selfiee is a disappointing misfire that struggles to blend comedy and drama, leaving audiences with a flat and uninspired narrative. The film attempts to explore the clash between a superstar (Akshay Kumar) and his obsessive fan (Emraan Hashmi) but fails to deliver the emotional or comedic impact it promises. Akshay Kumar tries to bring his usual charm to a character that feels underwritten, while Emraan Hashmi’s earnest performance is overshadowed by a disjointed script and lacklustre pacing. The movie is bogged down by repetitive sequences and forced humour that fails to land, making the characters feel more caricatured than relatable. The potential for an engaging commentary on fame and fandom is squandered in favour of exaggerated conflicts and unnecessary melodrama. Even the music and visuals do little to elevate the dull narrative. With minimal laughs, weak emotional beats, and a story that goes nowhere meaningful, Selfiee feels like a wasted opportunity. Unfortunately, it lacks the spark and creativity that could have made it a memorable watch. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 01/11/25 Full Review Aakanksha P I liked the simplicity and innocence of the story. One time watch for sure. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/26/24 Full Review Ekansh D It was decent U could watch it with family and friends . This is an ott movie meant to watch in the comfort of ur home and not a cinematic masterpiece of comedy gold. Personally I think the music was changing too suddenly and the side characters were all too bland boring abused character mainly there for the plot and comedy The twist was no twist at all while I liked the dark magician whom was an influencer The rto test were decent but there were to many buts and if, first test could have been more challenging but it was decent overall And for comedy there isn't much, akshay kumar Or should I say vijjay kumar was a perfect character with no negative side He could have been the villan of the story Overall it could have been better but isn't {Movie to watch while eating with family} 🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅🍅 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews
