Helga N Aug 9 I honestly don’t get why this movie has such a low rating—maybe it’s a cultural thing—but I thought it was brilliant! It’s been ages since I laughed this much at a clean South African movie… probably not since the first Semi-Soet! And let’s be honest, sequels often flop, but this one absolutely delivered. Huge shout-out to the writers and cast—you nailed it! In times like these, a good, wholesome laugh for the whole family is exactly what we need. ❤️🇿🇦 See more Daniel G Jul 14 At most passable Netflix RomCom in Africaans - there were a few laughs and it was dynamic, at least, but the villain in the story was just overly stupid and the whole affair was played with some earnestness, but very low-level intelectually. See more Moffie R Jul 14 Rate:8/10 Semi could not get any sweeter. With a face full of nappies (not very clean ones FYI). The long overdue, highly anticipated sequel was worth the wait. The dynamic duo trade office boardrooms for nappies, a very screaming baby, a jackass who think he is hip and Chadrey herself. From start to finish the movie did not disappoint with laughs from beginning to end. Praises go out the entire cast, Anel and Nico, you made the movie even better bigger than the original while keeping it down to earth.
