Victor Martin (William Shatner) is a retired NASA test pilot often seen speeding around Palm Springs in his vintage Porsche convertible with his best friend Sal (Christopher Lloyd) in tow. His life changes when his license is revoked for drag racing and his car impounded. Forced to take public transportation for the first time, he meets his polar opposite Caroline (Jean Smart) and learns to navigate love and life again as he goes up against the state's new DA to get back his license and car.

Thoroughly likeable, feather-light rom-com [that] steadfastly rails against a raft of stereotypes about the elderly, with Shatner and Smart partying, having sex and sharing a roll-your-own cigarette filled with a substance they refer to as “grass”.

It was a cute, light, romantic comedy. Acting was terrific, and we really enjoyed ourselves. Especially being back in a movie theatre again!

It was good to see Shatner showing their skills as actors at their age. The script though was sickening and typical Hollyweird lifestyle lunacy and such a turnoff. They ruined it, blech. Most America are not, Hollyweird ppl, thanfully!

Comedically promised by familiarity, with a nice cast who pleasantly delivers, only to be blandly broken with a disappointing void as it turns out that the title descriptively narrows down to relatable demographics. (C)
