delysid d a scottish classic prison film, not many to choose from Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/17/20 Full Review Audience Member Incredibly vivid depiction of underworld Glasgow in the seventies. A powerful, true story that never leaves my memory. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Not bad, I watched the dubbed version with the posh accents it doesn't convince, Still its a good film based on Boyle's book Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Sets the bar for recent films like Chopper and Bronson. Definately worth a watch for fans of crime films. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member 1978 TV film about Glasgow gangster Jimmy Boyle. No real depth, would have liked a bit more background and some facts about the murder as all this presents is a tough guy who likes to make things shit, literally on occasion, for the prison wardens and governors. Has a few bursts of violence but they are all far too brief, however, they did get the choice of where to end the adaptation of Boyle's book correct. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member Based on the real Jimmy Boyle whom I had the unexpected but great pleasure of meeting, doing his bit helping the young offenders of nowadays, this film is powerfull compelling and dam right brilliant, highly reccomend this to everyone!
