Sisters Nora and Agnes reunite with their estranged father, the charismatic Gustav, a once-renowned director who offers stage actress Nora a role in what he hopes will be his comeback film. Great acting, but storyline was long and drawn out.. the kind of movie where you keep checking your watch. The plot could be summed up in 3 sentences..pretty much just a character development movie with some horrific abuse phots thrown in and fixation on suicide. Quite the downer movie.. Waste of time for us!

Loved this film! Amazing cast, especially Skarsgard & the 2 actresses that played his daughters. I also loved how their childhood home is yet another character in the film. Beautiful cinematography. You root for these characters and are satisfied by the end credits.
