A lacerating revenge-thriller... There is no warmth or wit in Sentinelle; it's an exercise in unsubtle retributive justice. Go to Full Review

There's a lot to like here, if you're willing to explore a labyrinthine, sometimes unwelcoming platform to find it. Go to Full Review

While it's relatively short at 80 minutes -- which means it can be watched to just pass time without too much commitment -- Sentinelle still feels like another half-baked work that suffers from a poorly written script and generic fight scenes. Go to Full Review

For Olga Kurylenko, Sentinelle should be a welcomed stepping stone into action stardom. Go to Full Review

05/04/2024 SENTINELLE is a hard core thriller and Olga Kurylenko does really well, but the screenplay seemed like good ideas, but "anything more" isn't quite there. I wanted to be really engaged, but just wasn't quite. It could be "just me"? It wasn't a waste of time, but I didn't get a whole lot of much from it either. See more Mikal O 05/24/2023 Rotten tomatoes is wrong as usual. See more T T 02/05/2023 I usually like French movies. This has got to be the first exception. This movie was really bad: bad acting, bad script, and a bad plot. Also the fight/action scenes were not really good. It was just silly nonsense. This is the worst revenge movie I have seen, so far. See more jose raul b 01/13/2023 Olga Kurylenko's performance's good, but this movie has a very generic plot that makes it very predictable. Kind of remind me The Punisher or many others like it. See more harris r 12/24/2022 Seen it many times before, and much better. There was absolutely nothing new in this film that hasn't already been done before, and done much better. The directing was sub-par and bland. The shaky camera got annoying, and the choreographed action scenes weren't anything great. Even at a mere 80 min runtime, the slow pacing and lack of any real narrative outside the conceptual story made this film drag on and feel much longer. Everything in the writing was cliched and predictable. There really was no point in making this film. Even as a fan of Olga Kurylenko, I felt she was underutilized. You wont miss a thing if you skip this one. It's a generous 5/10 all going to some decent cinematography and to the adequate casting and performances. See more avindu g 09/18/2022 Sentinelle's story has so many gaps that it's kind of rude. It's strong-willed heroine almost become superficial with the story's illogical unrealistic one-man missions. Beyond some fight scenes there's not much to take away. Great amount of effort by Olga keeps this story afloat. See more Read all reviews
