Audience Member SENTINELLE is a hard core thriller and Olga Kurylenko does really well, but the screenplay seemed like good ideas, but "anything more" isn't quite there. I wanted to be really engaged, but just wasn't quite. It could be "just me"? It wasn't a waste of time, but I didn't get a whole lot of much from it either. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/04/24 Full Review Mikal O Rotten tomatoes is wrong as usual. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/25/23 Full Review T T I usually like French movies. This has got to be the first exception. This movie was really bad: bad acting, bad script, and a bad plot. Also the fight/action scenes were not really good. It was just silly nonsense. This is the worst revenge movie I have seen, so far. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review jose raul b Olga Kurylenko's performance's good, but this movie has a very generic plot that makes it very predictable. Kind of remind me The Punisher or many others like it. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review harris r Seen it many times before, and much better. There was absolutely nothing new in this film that hasn't already been done before, and done much better. The directing was sub-par and bland. The shaky camera got annoying, and the choreographed action scenes weren't anything great. Even at a mere 80 min runtime, the slow pacing and lack of any real narrative outside the conceptual story made this film drag on and feel much longer. Everything in the writing was cliched and predictable. There really was no point in making this film. Even as a fan of Olga Kurylenko, I felt she was underutilized. You wont miss a thing if you skip this one. It's a generous 5/10 all going to some decent cinematography and to the adequate casting and performances. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review HumBerkGer It's just bad in everyway possible. So many time wasted in the beginning for nothing, unnecessary scenes, and little to no character development. Also, the way how this protagonist go and make decision doesn't even make sense (this one wants to deliver like The Equalizer or Polar like movie) and can be backfired easily to the protagonist. Can't recommend this to anyone. -K Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/02/22 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

John Doyle Globe and Mail A lacerating revenge-thriller... There is no warmth or wit in Sentinelle; it's an exercise in unsubtle retributive justice. Mar 24, 2021 Full Review Daniel Gorman In Review Online There's a lot to like here, if you're willing to explore a labyrinthine, sometimes unwelcoming platform to find it. Jun 6, 2021 Full Review Tatat Bunnag Bangkok Post While it's relatively short at 80 minutes -- which means it can be watched to just pass time without too much commitment -- Sentinelle still feels like another half-baked work that suffers from a poorly written script and generic fight scenes. Mar 13, 2021 Full Review Matt Conway Battle Royale With Cheese For Olga Kurylenko, Sentinelle should be a welcomed stepping stone into action stardom. Mar 9, 2021 Full Review Johnny Loftus Decider Sentinelle balances its beats of emotional trauma against the darker forces of vigilantism. Mar 8, 2021 Full Review Austin Burke Austin Burke/Flick Fan Nation While the film gets off to a decent start, the constant exposition and conventions get in the way of its success.
