Audience Member Boring lame movie with 2 great actors. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 06/27/18 Full Review Audience Member It takes a while for anything to happen in this movie and when it does it is thoroughly depressing and quite predictable. . . a few tense moments were the highlights. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/24/18 Full Review Audience Member This had all the potential to be an amazing movie but the plot was non existent. What a waste of a great cast. The book this movie was based on was EXCELLENT. Such a same this didn’t pan out. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/21/18 Full Review Audience Member A pretty standard behind-the-scenes doco following Serena Williamsâ?? attempt to win the calendar Grand Slam in 2015. Itâ??s interesting though, and it seems almost worth becoming a top athlete for the amount of time you are allowed to spend napping and getting massaged. However, when Williams [spoilers!] chokes one match from the big finish, she goes into hiding from everyone, including the camera, so it feels very anti-climactic. Sophie Gilbert The Atlantic Its grasp on both the public significance of Williams and the private forces that drive her make it a fascinating look at the kind of personality that's required to become the greatest of all time. Jul 11, 2016 Full Review Phumlani S Langa City Press (South Africa) The film does well to avoid the reality TV template that this genre crashes into at times. The artful insertion of her voice as narration over moments during a game really drives home her state of mind - that of a winner. Rated: 3.5/5 Jan 2, 2020 Full Review Read all reviews
