Audience Member I think it always great to hear what is going on in the private life of a specific person especially if it's a late night host like Seth Meyers. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review georgan g Seth always makes me laugh. This set was long enough for him to balance several themes he jokes about, to make a full circle. Good fun. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This was fun. I'm used to watching him on Late Night, so nice to see this special and him in a different avatar. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member TF?! that anyone doesn't find this funny baffles me!!??. (had my 1st child same-ish way) fucking hilarious regardless... but i get it... high brow humor can be hard to understand. Anyway... Fucking hilarious. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review tom m Worth a decent chuckle. Cleaner than most comics. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member I almost feel bad saying this because he seems like a nice enough person but gawd is Seth Meyers not a funny stand-up. This special is so banal. I mean come on, jokes about how men leave their pants on the floor and can't see things that are right in front of them? Timeworn, shallow, cliche material. He's decent with guests on LN but definitely not someone who can do stand-up. He's like the person in your friend group who's not actually funny but tries to be. Ashlie D. Stevens Salon.com It's a charming side of the comedian that we don't often get to see on late-night, though the delivery of these jokes are just as tight and well-paced as the opening monologues on his show. Nov 12, 2019 Full Review Kathryn VanArendonk New York Magazine/Vulture Its dominant impression is of being extremely cute, in a way that usually means Aww, it's really a cute special! but which occasionally veers into something closer to a self-aware impish cutesiness. Nov 12, 2019 Full Review Clare Martin Paste Magazine [Seth Meyers] commands the room with pithy stories and occasionally punctuates a bit with a deer-in-the-headlights stare. His charm and consistency are both admirable, if a little dulling to his performance. Rated: 7.6/10 Nov 12, 2019 Full Review Sean L. McCarthy Decider You'll never look at this late-night TV host the same way again. And that's a good thing. Nov 5, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews
