Barbara Duggen, 'The Mobile Seamstress', is struggling to keep her fabric shop alive. After a botched sewing appointment sets her on a quest to replace her client's lost button, she unexpectedly stumbles upon a drug deal gone bad. Faced with two downed motorcyclists, guns, and a briefcase -- Barbara is completely torn. She is forced to pick between three choices: commit the perfect crime, call the police, or drive away. The narrative presents the repercussions of all three decisions, and the deadly confrontations that result from each as she gets entangled with the case's owner. Using thread to free herself, Barbara stops at nothing to save her store.

Struggling to maintain her business, a seamstress (Eve Connelly) comes across a botched drug deal. What happens afterwards depends on which thread she pulls. A very clever and interesting film that presents three stories based on the decisions the seamstress makes. It's whimsical and I'm skeptical how well she can construct a threaded trap but it's certainly not generic. Recommended

Perfectly paced pastiche of murder, mystery, and a mobile seamstress. Eerily eclectic ensemble cast conjures magic moments. Or something. It's like nothing this old man has seen. Understated yet over the top. My better half and I rarely come together on a film, but this was one. Just watch it. And enjoy.

Sew Torn is a cleverly structured indie crime thriller with a bold narrative twist: one inciting moment, three divergent paths, and no happy ending in sight.... Director Freddy Macdonald delivers a taut, low-budget tale about a struggling seamstress caught in a failed drug deal who must choose between fight, flight, or calling the cops. Each storyline unfolds with unique tension, blending dark humor, suspense, and fatalism. While the repetition wears thin in the second half, Eve Connolly’s nuanced performance holds it all together. A gritty, thought-provoking meditation on fate and how sometimes, every choice is the wrong one.....

Although this sort of Run Lola Run concept is always fun, it doesn't manage to nail any elements. All the stories feel undercooked, it's just weird for weirdness sake - why does everyone in Switzerland speak english, why is the perfect crime one that is ludicrously over engineered, why does the chief of police want to kill everyone? Go rewatch a Coen Brothers film, you'll have more fun.
