Audience Member too much breakfast and very little sex, the orginal Bob, Carol, Ted and Alice (or as mad magazine called it that Boob, Carnal, Tad and Alas) was much better Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/16/23 Full Review Audience Member The majority of the film is plain boring. The title is far more exciting than any part of the movie and the moral conclusions are deeply reactionary and petit bourgeois. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I really liked this one... Macaulay Culkin will always be a favourite of mine and it's nice to see him looking healthy and I think he has a wit and a charm about him in this film. I found it deep and thought provoking... I liked the realism, there are situations that you can really relate to, Eliza Dushku was a nice treat too, she does moody very well. Worth a watch for sure, for anyone who has found themselves on the wrong end of a young relationship, it explore the dynamics quite well. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member Fails a every catagory. Not "lovely" enogh to be a romantic movie Not funny at all, so i cant be a comedy But just a whole bunch of bad subliminal messages and a poor attempt to make a movie over relationship-drama Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member As out of place as Macaulay Culkin in a relationship with Alexis Dziena. I think the casting people may have been full on retarded Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member An art house film with a lack of "art house" in it and a shameful excuse for a film title. Amy Nicholson I.E. Weekly The four restless young bedfellows talk lots and communicate little in trite and stagy digressions; even when they strip off their shirts, they're still emotionally clothed. Rated: C Jan 29, 2008 Full Review Kevin Crust Los Angeles Times Despite an attractive cast and a few nice moments, Sex and Breakfast is just not that exciting. Rated: 2/5 Nov 30, 2007 Full Review Tim Cogshell Boxoffice Magazine What's interesting about the movie are its interests, which are the funny, insightful, curious preoccupations of the young, which is to say they're about sex and sexuality. Nov 30, 2007 Full Review Carey-Ann Pawsey Orca Sound Not sure if they were going for something edgy and deep here, but it falls short.
