Audience Member Great sweet movie. Healing almost in a way ! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I enjoyed this movie very much, I have watched it more than once. I found it to be moving and a great message in a world of movies that seems to rely more on special effects than anything else. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Fantastic movie touches on so many subjects. Tottaly recomend this to everyone to see actually i already have ...way to go Alley !!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member So wonderfully written that the emotion flies off the screen Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member A different blend of comedy/drama, brilliantly written and directed by Ally Walker. Sure there are some minor character flaws but the story/plot moves along nicely and emotionally invests the audience in the transition. Strong cast. Definitely a film worth watching. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member Great movie! Well directed, and good to see Drea and Selma back in action! Dennis Harvey Variety Rather oddly titled for what's basically a sentimental family pic, "Sex, Death and Bowling" mixes numerous formulaic, overfamiliar elements that never quite gel. Nov 23, 2015 Full Review Katie Walsh Los Angeles Times It's overly busy and seems to mask that there's something lacking. Grenier anchors with a nuanced lead performance, but for such a starry cast, the cinematic quality doesn't match up to the talent on screen. Nov 6, 2015 Full Review Jordan Hoffman Guardian Should be quietly euthanised. Rated: 1/5 Nov 6, 2015 Full Review John Fink The Film Stage Attempting a complex tone combining melodrama and quirk, it's moderately successful on a few fronts. Rated: C Feb 20, 2016 Full Review Frederic and Mary Ann Brussat Spirituality & Practice A richly emotional character-driven drama. Rated: 3/5 Nov 9, 2015 Full Review Eric Monder Film Journal International Seems more like a Lifetime Network movie than something designed for theatrical release.
