Thom N @RT68992806 01/03/2025 Having watched the original Toxic Avenger at the theater not long ago, I ventured out even further with this one. If I would have known that all the producers are Japanese and that they asked for this, I wouldn't have been absolutely crippled by cringing the whole movie. As-is, this film is about as ridiculous as a film can be. It both takes the project serious enough to make an amusing and cinematic product (this is no "Trash Humpers"), and refuses to take any of itself seriously at all. Amusing and powerful performances by Susan Byun and Bill Weeden, and the momentary characters throughout were just as zany and outrageous. As to be expected in a Kaufman film, a couple of boobies are shown, and some intermittent shock violence of course. Undeniably part of the True Kino Canon, alongside Chihuahua the Movie, Gigli, and Cats (2019). More Tromaverse, less MCU! See more BigD J @Jerminator 11/15/2023 Kubukiman was surprisingly great! This film had me cracking up! So ridiculous and over the top zany antics. Some rare PG-13 nudity just for a little added fun.
