It cleverly weaves together nasty nightmares from both the Iraq occupation and World War II while constantly grossing us out. Although we never get very deeply involved.

Sure switches gears halfway through. It wasn't a smart or great horror, and there were plenty of tropes and cliches, but it wasn't bad. Plus it was short. It wasn't too flashy, simple is better in this case, so that was good. And I'm sure this was pretty low budget, which is also good considering. Cool ending. A bit nonsense if you think about it though. Also annoying soundtrack.

It was decent until it went down the torture porn route. The sadist in it was a cross between Pluto from The Hills Have Eyes,Nosferatu and Buffalo Bill. The ending is a major cop out and is like something from a bad American soap. Nice touch with G.W Bush on the wall of Dictators.

It's creepy, but the twist totally ruins it. Gorgeous setting in Italy near the borders with Austria and Slovenia. Saw it because of Testa (Frontiers).
