Audience Member Pretty boring, the characters are hallow and the action is mute. Not a lot of shark action. The plot isn't as interesting as one might think, and the whole idea of hunting a prehistoric shark winds up feeling lackluster. Forgettable. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/02/23 Full Review Audience Member This was quit honestly one of the best underwater scifi films ever made and I have to say this movie is a gem compared to those really campy Rodger Corman films. My favorite lines were "It's a Godd**n train with teeth" and "We're going to need a bigger sub." When looking at the cover you would expect a horrible film like the film with Casper Van Dean Shark Attack with cheesy effects with blood and gore. This film was nothing like that and had great acting, character development, great sets, and surprisingly good CGI. Everything in the film was visually enchanting. You do not expect a film with this kind of story line to stir your emotions but this film did that for me and everyone I've watched it with. This film has become one of those unknown gems that has developed a cult following because you rent because you want to see parts fly and blood spew, and find, to your surprise, you get something totally different. I've seen alot of creature features and horror films from gems like Phantasm to trash like Basketcase and this film was no Basketcase. This was definately an A+ and just goes to show that you don't have to have a large budget or cheap thrills to produce a film that looks realistic and has interesting characters. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/01/23 Full Review Audience Member The expected stupid plot, and the usual emotionless acting from Antonio Sabato Jr. There are many better crafted shark movies out there. It doesn't have a low budget look to it, surprisingly. Cliche's abound. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Ill be honest and say I enjoy cheesy shark films. While this is a bad movie, its not so bad that it is unwatchable. The cgi is actually decent compared to some of the other crap I've seen within this genre. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member I think Antonio Sabato Jr. was fighting the bad CG shark with equally bad acting in this one.
