Jay W "Shaun the Sheep" is a spinoff of the three-time Oscar winning duo of Wallace and Gromit. It was a TV series before getting this feature, and it is once again brought to us by Aardman animation. Their distinctive claymation style never ceases to radiate charm. The unique British humor and visual comedy is effortlessly endearing. And not to bury the lead, the whole movie is dialogue free. That has its pros and cons. On the positives, the movie now has universal appeal. Whether you are old or young, or whatever language you speak. On the negative side, there isn't much to this movie. It is basically a longer version of a TV episode. The plot feels very contrived, and certain character decisions don't add up. There is some forced third act drama that feels out of place. But other than those things, there is little baaaaad things about this film. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 11/21/24 Full Review Cameron B A gem of a movie from Aardman (once again) and a movie that makes you laugh and cry at the same time and cry because of how hard you're laughing. Absolute Beauty! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/26/24 Full Review Charlie P Dude the scene where Shaun hums the song and everybody else does is amazing and it makes me cry. Same with the scene where Shaun and the farmer and bitzer and all the other sheep are about to die but they all hug the farmer whimpering and the farmer realizes and just-OH! IT IS SUCH A GREAT 10/10 MOVIE!!!!!!!!! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/24/24 Full Review Daniel M Was close to giving it a 9, but damn the scene where the sheep hum a song to the little sheep, aw fuck it 5 stars Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/09/24 Full Review Rob E This movie is absolutely phenomenal Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/02/24 Full Review Peter-Paul J Proof that you don't need dialogue to make a great film.
