Audience Member Terrorists in Ireland steal the champion of the national horse race, a colt named Shergar, in order to gain ransom. People they leave the horse try to save it from the thugs and get in trouble. Before police fin them all, not much happens. The director decided that it's better to show how inarticulate chracters get engaged in pretentious, senseless dialogues with overblown pauses, instead of treating us to the scenes with riding beautiful horses. The stupidity of the film and its aimlessness climaxes in a disappointing end.The only interesting thing is that Michey Rourke keeps meaningful silence throughout the film and before too long, gets shot. Good riddance, I never liked the guy. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member True story about a world famous racehorse that got stolen in Ireland.
