R C @originalsalt 08/11/2023 Go Sexy! Go Sexy! Go Sexylove! LOL A Filipino rom-com at the height of the Kathryn Bernardo / Daniel Padilla "love team" powers. Flashbacks are wonky and this movie's depiction of a gangsta is quite tame. As typical with Filipino cinema, scenes ran too long and the storyline was jumpy. The basketball action was weak, but the Sexylove chant was ROTF ridiculous funny. There could have been 4 endings until the actual ending on the bench. But wait that's not the ending either! This was so good and it had me wanting more. The ending brought me to tears. So inspirational. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to see a beautiful movie. The chemistry between Athena and Kenji had me enthralled. If you want to see a movie with fantastic character development, amazing plot, and heart wrenching relationships this is the movie for you.
