      Tom M Mayo's dancing and singing are highlighted and she's doesn't disappoint. Typical 50's college story. Only recommended for musical lovers. Really one of the funniest things about this movie is that a Hays Code approved burlesque is presented as so shockingly scandalous. It's a remake of "The Male Animal" and tells the story of Virgina Mayo (who I did not realize did any song and dance pictures) as a burlesque star who danced in order to earn enough money to go to college. Once at college she realizes her old high school teacher, Reagan, is there too and then her racy past causes all sorts of comic situations. I suppose it's not horrible, but it's pretty forgettable.
