06/16/2020 Don't expect a sophisticated, highly talented musical, but instead a delightfully fun and colorful comedy/musical with a little bit of spice. Really one of the funniest things about this movie is that a Hays Code approved burlesque is presented as so shockingly scandalous. See more Frances H 12/02/2017 Too boring to finish. See more 07/15/2015 This bland musical comedy that would likely have been completely forgotten had it not included the the 40th President of the United States in it's cast. It's a remake of "The Male Animal" and tells the story of Virgina Mayo (who I did not realize did any song and dance pictures) as a burlesque star who danced in order to earn enough money to go to college. Once at college she realizes her old high school teacher, Reagan, is there too and then her racy past causes all sorts of comic situations. I suppose it's not horrible, but it's pretty forgettable. Sadly, this could arguable be the best go Reagan's pictures. See more 06/27/2014 Ronald Reagan was in a movie... I now understand the BTTF moment "The actor?"
