See more 08/16/2017 As a big Clerks fan I had high hopes for this film and I wasn't disappointed! It captured the spirit of the original in spades and was equally as entertaining. I laughed my ass off! I even cried. I have a feeling this film could inspire a whole new generation of film makers. See more 08/14/2017 I saw this at the Monmouth Film Festival. Shooting Clerks "feels" like the original. Definitely low-budget and "organic", it tells the compelling story of Kevin Smith and his circle of friends, and their unlikely rise to stardom. My two cents: I was emotionally captivated by young Kevin and his special relationship with his dad. Even though we all know how the story goes...i couldn't help but feel moved by their journey and their success. It is an easy watch. Loved it.
