Melanie Lynskey (Heavenly Creatures) makes a very charismatic lead in a likeable role. Quirky characters make for a colourful story, but ultimately the finale becomes predictable and falls kinda flat. Still, I'm all for supporting film from my native New Zealand and for a mindless afternoon on the couch, you can't go far wrong with this.
