Max H @max_hale Dec 23 I have no idea how, nearly 20 years after its release, this short film managed to reach second place in the "Top 10 Movies" category on HBO Max, but it certainly sparked my curiosity, so I decided to watch it. The film presents Shrek’s first Christmas and the holiday traditions of his friends. To be honest I don't understand why this special is rated so low. The animation is exactly what one would expect from a full-length Shrek film, the jokes land well, and it transports the viewer back into the familiar Shrek universe. I would not say that I would watch it every year, but that is mainly because I am not a big fan of the Shrek films. Naturally, like all other Shrek films, its primary target audience is children, but it can also provide light entertainment for adults. Teniendo a varios personajes con las voces originales y un par de referencias navideñas, la franquicia supo continuar con un muy agradable especial navideño que ofrece momentos divertidos. A pesar de que muchos de los amigos de Shrek lo sacan de quicio, Shrek entenderá que la Navidad es mucho más que decorados y tratar de quedar bien con la familia. Los amigos también se vuelven una parte importante de lo que es pasar la Navidad con los seres queridos. Shrek The Halls es un buen especial navideño que la franquicia de Shrek pudo ofrecer.
