Perry (Linus Roache) is a successful designer who develops colors for a British paint company, but his life is plagued by bizarre disasters. After his wife is killed in a freak accident, Perry heads to Australia both to escape his everyday life and search for an elusive new color. While Down Under, he meets Grace (Danielle Cormack), a beautiful woman also trying to get away from a problematic personal life, and the two begin to fall for each other.

12/26/2010 Siam Sunset je australijska crna komedija o nekakvom Englezu (radi kao dizajner boja u nekoj firmi) kome zena pogine u vrlo bizarnoj nesreci (sto je ujedno i jedna od najboljih scena smrti EVER). Nekoliko mjeseci nakon toga na tomboli dobija desetodnevni boravak u Australiji i odlazi tamo na nagovor svog cace ne bi li se nekako oraspolozio nakon teskog gubitka. Medjutim, ispostavlja se da kompanija koja je organizovala putovanje podsjeca na nesto iz Alana Forda, a neobicne nesrece nastavljaju da se desavaju oko njega. Meni je ovo odlican film. Jes' da je u pitanju zapravo neka mjesavina drame i crne komedije, a nije urnebesna komedija kao sto bi se moglo zakljuciti iz sinopsisa, ali film je skroz zabavan, sa odlicnim glumcima i australijskim setingom koji uvijek sam po sebi donosi ogromnu kolicinu poena. Distinctive and quirky, this is a film that definitely made an impression on me. Great concept, well acted, neat story. Highly recommend.
