Audience Member Fun, dumb, very rewatchable beach volleyball movie covered in late-80s pastel clothing and montage after montage after montage. There are plot holes, but if you're looking for plot, go find another movie. This film is a beautiful time capsule, and the volleyball itself is well shot. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/15/23 Full Review scott m A slice of 80's cheese. Not a bad movie to watch if you want to kill a couple hours. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Nostalgic 90s cheese. It's a common theme, executed well for a 90s b-movie. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Best handset of all time chuckles. Vanilla Thunder delivers fantastic line about his years in ballet how can you go wrong. Give me half.... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member There has never been a more flawless film than C. Thomas Howell's volleyball epic Side Out Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member This really isn't a good movie. But it's a fun one. It's an 80s treat that was released in 1990. It stars Peter Horton (relevant tv star at the time) and C. Thomas Howell (desperately clinging to relevancy). It's almost as if someone saw the beach volleyball scene in Top Gun and said, "Let's do that for 2 hours, but with less expensive actors." Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Read all reviews
