Aldo G My first Aline McMahon movie and what an under-appreciated actor who deserves more recognition. In Side Streets she plays an independent, sharp-thinking shopkeeper, with a generous spirit. Lonely, though, she helps a vagabond and the two start a relationship suited for a TV soap. Nonetheless, a small gem of a picture starring a 14 kart actor.
