I thoroughly enjoyed this movie! Often hauntingly beautiful and sensitive with pretty vignettes and delicate music, creating the perfect romantic landscape for the story. Two appealing lead characters who delightfully merge French and Japanese worlds…often, without words. A gentle and thoughtfully constructed movie, focussed on the lives of two people who are dealing with grief, of various types, in their very different worlds. I found this film, intoxicatingly beautiful.
