Teenage boy Sikandar (Parzaan Dastur), an orphan after his parents' violent death, lives with his aunt and uncle in Kabul. He has a talent for playing soccer, but is often targeted for bullying by the other children. One of his few friends is Nasreen (Ayesha Kapoor), who tries to look out for him. One day Sikandar finds a gun lying on the ground, and a stranger offers to train him in how to use it. But soon he finds out the stranger isn't who he seems, and Sikandar is in over his head.
