Steve D It really wants to be Friday the 13th. It fails. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 03/08/23 Full Review justin t If you are not watching this in 3D then don't waste your time. Even watching it in 3D is debatably a waste of time. The 3D looks mostly well done, the text on the titles looks totally broken though and I had to close my eyes. The 3D creativity is not as good as Friday the 13th Part III (1982) and the depth is not as clean as most modern films. Most of the plot revolves around arguing about the serial killer accidentally being let out from the secure hospital. There is little else to the plot and the kills are mostly irrelevant to the outcomes of the film. The killer is rather dull and doesn't have a patch on more mainstream slasher villains. The imagination in the 3D kills is lacking compared to other films. Sound quality is barely tolerable. Gore and violence is pretty brief and lacking overall. Acting is mostly fine. I think writing is mostly to blame here along with lacking in the set-pieces and some bad direction resulting in nonsensical character decisions. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review scott g This was stupid but a little entertaining. It feels like it was trying to be a Friday the 13th rip-off but failed. Only worth watching from time to time but not really something to brag about. The 3D is pointless and the big twist at the end is really dumb. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member Long lost slasher flick. It's not the strongest of the genre, but it's a good bit of fun. The lead is really likeable, and the 3D effects are actually pretty effective. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/16/21 Full Review Audience Member A pretty lame 80s slasher, Silent Madness still manages to be somewhat enjoyable as the escape psychopath predictably begins stalking a sorority house. Total, derivative crap but somewhat enjoyable nonetheless. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Slasher released from loony bin--Madness... is served!!
