ismail h I recently watched Silent partners and I have to say, it absolutely exceeded my expectations! From the very beginning, the film draws you in with its stunning visuals, strong performances, and engaging storyline. The lead actors delivered powerful performances, especially Ciro dalagio who brought such depth and emotion to their character. The direction was sharp, the pacing perfect, and the soundtrack added a whole new layer of intensity and emotion. What stood out the most was how the movie balanced entertainment with a meaningful message — something not every film pulls off well. Terrific acting, story, pacing, action -- it's a terrific watch. It feels a little like Good Fellas mixed with the Departed. It was unique to have the setting in Miami, and the director really captures that atmosphere - Miami in the 80s. Me and my husband rented it for a date night and paired it with some excellent tequila. Think maybe Rum would've also worked (for Miami)?! Betrayal, violence, laughs, pretty ladies, etc. But most of all it has great acting, directing, writing and editing. It has the real feel of Miami in the 80's. Plenty of “oh shit” moments, some chuckles sprinkled in too. Like when of Valentine’s street guys tells him to “get the fried steak” or when one of the targets complains about his bloody nose. From the epic cars, to the seaside scenes and overhead shots and the nightlife, it was one helluva ride! Valentine’s last line is hilarious!
