Xan Brooks Independent (UK) Of course it's tempting fate to dub your film Simply Irresistible, but this vacuous soufflé about a magically-empowered caterer is genuinely rank. James B This was my first time watching this movie, and it was rough. I'm not sure if it is because it hasn't aged well being 25 years old, or if it is just kind of rough. I thought some of the acting was just not great in a lot of parts. It definitely make me cringe a few times especially when the cover of The Police song came on about 2/3 through the movie. It's a movie that I would skip over to be honest. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 10/25/24 Full Review Bahad j This idea of the filmmaker made the movie more accessible to more people. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/19/24 Full Review Uynga U Mark Tarlov never fails Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/19/24 Full Review Munkhjargal A This movie is also a great hit. It's a nice movie to learn a lesson from Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/19/24 Full Review Christina H This movie is the reason behind my business. I was about 9 years old when I first saw this movie and fell in love with it and the concept behind the movie. I wanted to make my clients feel amazing from the inside out after they leave my hair loss clinic. I pray they never do a remake lol Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/11/23 Full Review Joel H My wife and I decided to watch Simply Irresistible on a whim. At first we were confused, and then we were entranced by how bizarre this movie is. This attempt at a romantic comedy feels like a student film with a budget. The plot, the dialogue, the acting, and the editing all seem like they were done by someone who had seen movies before, but never actually made one. The story doesn't make sense or explain anything, and the relationship between Sarah Michelle Gellar and Sean Patrick Flanery is completely forced. Oh, and did I mention that there is a magical crab in this movie? Why? I have no idea. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Read all reviews
