Christina H This movie is the reason behind my business. I was about 9 years old when I first saw this movie and fell in love with it and the concept behind the movie. I wanted to make my clients feel amazing from the inside out after they leave my hair loss clinic. I pray they never do a remake lol Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/11/23 Full Review Joel H My wife and I decided to watch Simply Irresistible on a whim. At first we were confused, and then we were entranced by how bizarre this movie is. This attempt at a romantic comedy feels like a student film with a budget. The plot, the dialogue, the acting, and the editing all seem like they were done by someone who had seen movies before, but never actually made one. The story doesn't make sense or explain anything, and the relationship between Sarah Michelle Gellar and Sean Patrick Flanery is completely forced. Oh, and did I mention that there is a magical crab in this movie? Why? I have no idea. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 11/28/23 Full Review Asma K Horrible plotline; completely non-sensical movie; poorly executed; love story was anything but romantic I think what bothers me the most is that there was no point to the movie. I am guessing the moral was that the main character should believe in herself, but that moral was not well portrayed. Instead, it appeared the moral was that the main character should chill and be happy because she now has magic that solved all her problems. I feel as if this film was written, produced, and directed by a 5-year old who ate too much candy before bed. I generally have really low standards for rom-coms because I've seen so many, so I would just like to congratulate this movie for being the worst rom-com I have ever seen. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 08/23/23 Full Review Richard T The only thing redeeming about this movie is the random crab, which is also possibly the worst plot anchor I've ever seen in a movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/05/23 Full Review Audience Member It really is a lovely movie. SMG and SPF are both adorable. This movie isn't going to change the world, but is good for a watch every couple of years. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review steve d I resisted quite easily.
