08/20/2010 Nunsploitation films are always so hit or miss, the only way to be successful in this field is to be the most shocking and perverse, and this one is neither. The film seems like it's more about a forbidden romance than it is about nuns from the wrong side of the tracks. Light on the sex and violence, but does have enough of other elements going on to keep the viewers intrest. See more 05/05/2010 This is the first ever Nunsploitation film I've seen. Yes, there was a sub-genre. Supposedly , it was really smutty and perverse, but today, it seems kind of tame. It does have its moments though, but at times, it was kind of boring. While not nearly sinful nor exploitative enough, the end result is an ok film, but more sleaze instead of (and I can't believe I say this) drama and plot would have made for a more interesting film.
