The characters were not as well developed with the exception of a few and the plot was way to generic for anything unique to happen. But nevertheless satisfactory. See more 05/17/2013 Nice movie.. Rohit Shetty proved to be an above average director, as he mixed the action scenes with comedy with ease. Story doesn't have enough twists though or enough oomph to push it to the next level but very enjoyable movie, which is a rare factor of political movies in general. One Cop like Durai Singam and India will do even better .. My first Surya movie .. truly a ferocious lion .. great fighting style, dances well and is super super cute .. See more 04/04/2011 Singam was a good Tamil movie, with awesome songs. I loved Surya and Prakash Raj a lot, because their acting was great.
