      What to Know

      Critics Consensus

Sisters' sharp blend of pathos and vulgarity, along with Tina Fey and Amy Poehler's effervescent chemistry, are more than enough to make up for the handful of laughs this coming-of-age comedy leaves on the table.

Cristian s A nivel historia y desarrollo es bastante flojita, diría que incluso mala pero a nivel humor y como entretenimiento es excelente. Y creo que eso es lo que importa en una comedia, que te divierta y te haga reír así que cumple su cometido. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/02/24 Full Review Alec B Poehler, Fey, and the outstanding ensemble make it enjoyable (especially Bobby Moynihan, who has a truly great character) despite the bland plot. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/14/23 Full Review Jake 2 Super fun comedy about 2 sisters who just want to be transported back to the good ol' days. This has a super fun cast and is a fun (have I said it was fun?) story to sit back and relax. Its like Project X (2012) but for your parents. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/25/23 Full Review Lexe I found Sisters to be a refreshing change, from rom coms or college, or freshman wild party movies, Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 10/06/23 Full Review Gareth v Had high hopes for this movie on hearing the premise and that Fey & Poehler were starring. In the end it comes of as being a bit lazy and forced. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 06/22/23 Full Review Heidi S If you need something that's uplifting and/or hilarious, this is the movie to watch. And watch again! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/13/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Andi Zeisler Bitch Media Whether or not Sisters is the best use of Fey's or Poehler's gifts is beside the point; they're entitled to blow off the same dopey steam that propels the likes of Robert De Niro and Blythe Danner in all those Fockers movies. Feb 9, 2021 Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com Pell's script, inspired in no small way by her own relationship with her own sister, is so smart, so genuine, as crazy as things might get the human saga at the center remains pure and realistically heartfelt no matter what. Rated: 3.5/4 Aug 16, 2016 Full Review Megan Garber The Atlantic Is Sisters a good movie? No. No, it is not. Its plot manages to be both jarring (so many twists!) and predictable; its supporting characters are thin; it makes gleeful use of tired stereotypes. Jul 22, 2016 Full Review Jordan Brooks Vague Visages Sisters is a house party film told by and from the perspective of women, and that is precisely why it succeeds. Aug 1, 2023 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Sisters is one of those comedies that ends with a series of outtakes over the end credits, and by the looks of it, the talent had more fun shooting the film than we did watching it. Rated: 2/4 Apr 23, 2022 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse It's a simple comedic premise squeezed for giggles by a likeable cast. Rated: 3.5/5 Feb 3, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews
