Audience Member One of my favorite movies. I’m a big fan of Clifton Webb. I’ve seen this movie many times over the years and it never fails to make me laugh! Maureen O'Hara and Robert Young are a perfect married couple! Brings me back to the days when everyone in the neighborhood knew everyone else's business! 👍🏼 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/28/21 Full Review Tom M Clifton Webb's masterpiece. O'Hara is great and the movie overcomes Young's usual childish behavior. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 11/28/20 Full Review ashley h Sitting Pretty is an okay film. It is about a family that hires a live-in babysitter but is surprised when he turns out to be a man who's a quirky genius. Robert Young, Clifton Webb, and Maureen O'Hara give decent performances. The screenplay is a little slow in places. Walter Lang did an alright job directing this movie. I liked this motion picture because of the humor. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review steve d Cute enough but the script isn't great. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review s r Witty writing and characters. A wholesome film. I'd like to be like him. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review kevin w A bit of a novelty for Hollywood in that a gay main character (Clifton Webb) heads the action. His thrust (as it were) is infiltration of late 40's suburban America. His entry card: children like him (?!?). He is defiantly imperious and snide, and yet the film tries to get us to believe that people put up with him and his "genius", and more, actually like him. His main antagonist? The only other obviously gay person in town, whom he himself detests. People seem to enjoy this work. I was dumbfounded. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
