If I had known what happens to the rottie beforehand, I would've skipped this movie. Somehow this movie just feels like a surface, cursory take on a very ugly world. Vera Farmiga is great, as usual; but the movie itself is not all that gritty.

I love the actors Jamie Bell and Daniell Mcdonald. Even though Mcdonald only has a supporting role here, the film is great. It is exciting and engaging and the message is always relevant and important.

Totally worth it ! Great acting on all fronts and a very provoking story. Tbh I found his reasoning to such a 180 change a bit ‘weak' for someone who had such strong convictions - but apparently it's what happened in real life. Overall really liked it.
