If I ever meet the directors, Julia Butler and Daniel Mentz, I will have no choice but to punch them both square in their slack jaws, and hopefully avenge the evening they destroyed with their cloying wankathon of a "film". If I could say one thing to anyone reading this review who is considering watching Slipaway, it is all I can do to say SAVE YOURSELVES. WATCH ANYTHING ELSE. Please see this as a cautionary tale - do not make the same mistake I did. This was honestly such a sack of shit that it upsets me even knowing it exists. Heed this warning.
