Audience Member Finally I found this film after been looking for it a long time. A Greek/German production filmed entirely on the island of Thirassia, just opposite the more famous Santorini. Santorini is the island where I happen to live since 20 years! Life in Thirassia is still very close to how it used to be before the mass tourism invaded Santorini. By walking the small paths, peep into an old mini market or tavern, you will get a feel how even Santorini used to be once up on a time. Small crime is a comedy with a serious touch and a few messages. The performances is excellent by all the actors, though my favorite is Aris Servetalis whom by using only his face expressions makes you understand all his hidden feelings. A great film to watch a rainy day! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member A cute little small town comedy with some colourful (but not over the top) characters. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member The 2 stars is maybe to much, but the fact that this film was shot in a Greek island, kudos to that!!! Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/12/23 Full Review Audience Member The clever script, which features many twists as well as different perspectives of the same story, inspired direction, satirical mood and very good cast (especially protagonist Aris Servetalis and Rania Ekonomidou) rightfully elevate "Small Crime" to the category of very good Greek films of recent years. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/23 Full Review Audience Member Police officer on tiny island where everyone knows everyone else takes himself a bit too seriously. One day, a dead body is found, and then the island's one famous daughter returns home and something looks suspicious to him... It's a mellow little comedy, with enough quirk and charme to hold the attention. It has cute, funny, melancholy and sad moments, and every single pore of it oozes indie movie mood. It's also not really that memorable or outstanding in any way. Cute forgettable fluff. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/18/23 Full Review Audience Member Very cute, very sweet Greek murder mystery. Sometimes very funny too. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Read all reviews
