Andrzej W If those are small crimes then i don't want to know what big crimes are. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/24/23 Full Review T T I loved this movie! It's dark and depressing, but full of a dose of reality. Despite our best efforts and best intentions in turning our lives around and making amends, things don't always have to work out. We don't always get a second chance. That's real life. Not your typical predictable and boring ending. Full of twists and turns. Keeps you engaged. Low budget which makes it refreshing, because the actors have to actually act well and not hide behind expensive special effects and CGI. Every actor did a good job. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/20/23 Full Review john t I can see how this film wouldn't be well received, but I thought it was very well done. The sense of depression, the bitterness, hate and despair, with just a few moments of hope and a gentle romance. I liked the absence of big-budget explosions or shoot-outs, and even the very bleak ending worked well. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review jelisije j A man who recently got out of jail battles himself and everyone around him for the ultimate control of his life. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review breno g Special Effects: 0,5/Sound Effects: 0,5/Acting: 0,5/Story: 0,5 Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This had promise, but the writing could not decide whether it was going to take the story into deep-waters or not. It should have gone the way of Green Room, and just gone dark all the way through, it would have made it work. But it didn't. Love Jamie Lannister, that's why I showed up for this one. Sheila O'Malley RogerEbert.com Small Crimes works in part but is strangely murky in others. There's a lot of dead air. Rated: 2/4 Apr 28, 2017 Full Review Mike D'Angelo AV Club If the film came across as jaded and cynical, it might well be hard to take. Instead, it seems weary and defeated, as if some people are simply born to fail. Rated: B- Apr 26, 2017 Full Review David Ehrlich indieWire The film ties together in such a perfect bow that it's tempting to forgive all of the knots it took to get there. Rated: B- Mar 14, 2017 Full Review Patrick Cavanaugh The Wolfman Cometh The noir-ish chronicles of one man hoping to break free from the shackles of his past is majestically shot and endlessly frustrating. Rated: 4/5 May 12, 2023 Full Review Roger Moore Movie Nation Too many moments that should play as darkly-funny just don't. Rated: 1.5/4 Jul 9, 2020 Full Review Patrick Bromley F This Movie! The movie continues to make the case that Evan Katz is a huge talent, but it also fails to really excite me the way his last movie did. Rated: 2.5/5 Nov 3, 2018 Full Review Read all reviews
