lord b had potentail but became a clown show and two best characters wasted Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 10/20/23 Full Review Liam D While no where as fun or groundbreaking as the original but it's a bland but entertaining actioner Rated 3 out of 5 stars 05/31/22 Full Review Audience Member No where as good as the first but same thing: blood, guns and guts. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member Shoulda left this one alone! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 10/17/20 Full Review Audience Member As entertaining as this movie was, it just lacked the panache of the original. The story was well thought up and the characters were just as good. 3 out of 5 stars. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/03/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty loosely connected to the first movie. Also much much worse. I know the original Smokin' Aces isn't exactly Citizen Kane, but it's a good time as far as I'm concerned. Assassin's Ball is not so much. It spends so much of its time imitating things people liked about the first movie, which only makes it more obvious that it's worse. You wouldn't have to worry about being called a pale imitation if you did more than just imitate. What's more, poorly. I guess the quote unquote twist at the end was a little bit better in this one than the last, but it was revealed in so much poorer a way that you don't really notice. There's still the guns and whatnot that I guess are most vital, so it's not like it's worthless, it's just poorly made. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/22/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

R.L. Shaffer IGN Movies The creative whole is even more vapid, illogical and wasted than the first film. Rated: 5/10 May 5, 2020 Full Review David Michael Wharton CinemaBlend The biggest problem is that Smokin' Aces 2 is so infatuated with its predecessor that it never makes much effort to become its own thing. Rated: 1.5/5 May 5, 2020 Full Review David Sztypuljak HeyUGuys If you've seen the first movie and want another fix of much of the same sort of mayhem, then Smokin' Aces 2: Assassins' Ball is probably one you should be adding to your list of movies to buy or rent in 2010. May 5, 2020 Full Review Brad Bevet ComingSoon.net The film isn't all bad considering anyone watching it knows exactly what they are in for, but it's definitely nothing more than direct-to-DVD fodder. May 5, 2020 Full Review Caffeinated Clint Moviehole It's actually quite good. May 5, 2020 Full Review Kevin Carr 7M Pictures Once you get past the boobs and blasts, the movie falls apart.
